Erase Credit Card Debt
Erase Credit Card Debt
A specter is haunting millions of households across the U.S. Over the past decade this gruesome monster has been growing with each passing year. During the recent months this voracious and destructive beast has increased in size never before seen. The blood-sucking creature referred to in this article is not drug abuse, alcoholism, teen pregnancy or rap music. Even though the later is thought to have spawned from the same evil space, the horrific beast is consumer credit card debt. A fiend so vile, so destructive that for years its very existence was rarely even mentioned except among a small group of intrepid warriors known as the “Credit Card Debt Erasures”.
While most people are familiar with the concept of credit card debt for those who have seen it face-to-face the experience is terrifying and unforgettable. “I just recently have been able to talk about it without getting physically sick,” says Mark. “While I was in its inhuman grip, I almost lost the will to live. I remember a moment during the struggle when I thought I was going to die. It was actually that frightening.”
Mark’s story is all too familiar. He had graduated from a state university about four years before the events came about that would inflict such deep psychological scars on him. “I had gotten an OK job out of school and within a year or so had moved to another company with a good salary. I was single and enjoying life and didn’t see any reason things shouldn’t keep getting better for me.”
As time went on things did get better for Mark. He met a young woman and they planned to marry. As Mark ascended the career ladder, he received a promotion and a few raises. Even as his income increased, so did his expenses. A new car, exciting vacations, an apartment fitting his maturing status were all eating up his income. As time went on, he became more dependent on his several credit cards to see him over at the end of some months. Gradually, these months became more frequent and eventually it was common for him to be out of money at the end of month or even before.
Caught in the grasp of the pitiless financial animal, Mark couldn’t see anyway out. The few options that were available seemed unattainable and time was running out. No longer on the fast track to a pleasant and comfortable life, Mark had to face the very real possibility that Credit Card Debt had beaten him. He could go on no further.
Just when it seemed as though Credit Card Debt was going to chalk up another victim, Mark met Bill. Bill was a member of a group of people he said were known as “The Credit Card Debt Erasures.” More importantly to Mark, Bill told him that he knew all about Credit Card Debt and had beaten it himself and his group helped others to “drive it back to the putrid hell from whence it had sprung.”
Even though Bill spoke with a decided accent and used somewhat archaic language, he was heartened to learn that there was a group of people who knew the beast and were willing to help him defeat it.
